ARC-170 Pilot 1/12 3D printed kit - Star Wars The Black Series

The Revenge of the sith clone pilot has been a kit I've wanted to do for some time now and it's been very highly requested.
It has been very challenging as i set the bar pretty high to make this how id want to have it, the hardest part being the helmet.
Not only was it a very hard design shape and detail wise, based of limited screen reference, but getting it so that it was hollow and strong enough so you could put it on an pre-existing factory painted head was a challenge.

Like most of my other projects, i needed too scan in the base figure and head, however, that's not always a guarantee to work perfectly as the scans are not mm perfect, so test printing was essential for this.

Taking the 1/12 Death Mando body i stripped off all the parts even the gauntlets, and crafted 3D parts so they just pop on or slide over the base body, some bits realistically would be better off being sculpted into a new body part, however, I'm not there just yet with that tech and skill-wise.

I think I've been working on this for a month or so now, and we are nearing the end :)
