ARC Trooper / Alpha 17 - 1/12 Figure 3D models - Star Wars The Black Series

A client wanted to have one of their favourite 3.75 figures made into the 1/12 scale, the figure was that of a ARC Trooper from the early Clone Wars cartoon figure wave back in 2003.
What i did was to use the 2020 clone trooper body as a base then go over all the details in the old figure and model them to be added to the new 1/12 black series figure.

Some of these new parts would slip right on to the body where as others required more drastic alterations to the base figure.
we made two versions, one that matched the figure exactly which differed only via the helmet, and one that matched the comic strip of Alpha-17 back in the day.

The black belt part is designed to be all one part flex resin so that it could be slipped right onto the figure once painted.

The blaster was made by looking at the OG design and then taking design influences from the WW1 Artillery luger.

Once the kit was designed and test printed it was sent to the client who then painted it and built it as did my other friend who did the yellow version.
